PRIMARY HEALTH CARE INTERVENTION FOR INFANTS(0-5) YEARS Target: ₦1,000,000 Donation: ₦166,900 Day 0 of 120 Donate

According to UNICEF, 20% of infants in Nigeria do not see their 5th birthday. This is associated with illnesses such as pneumonia, malaria, jaundice, sepsis, meningitis etc. Sadly, our findings reveal that most of these medical conditions require less than N20,000 to be treated end-to-end. It was the recognition of this existential threat posed by this malady that our Health Emergency Initiative designed an intervention programme in the last 5 years. More than 300 children have successfully access basic health care from various hospitals in Lagos particularly Massey Children Hospital with over 85% survival rate culminating in being awarded the best NGO in Lagos state. It is instructive to know that Sterling Bank proudly supported this initiative with one million naira donation in 2020. We are by this grant seeking to increase our capacity to reach other children and sustain the initiative.
