Reading remains one of the most important things for a child’s future in literacy. No instructional interventions can meaningfully receive desired responses from the learners that cannot read nor write. Didactic approach commonly use by Early-childhood teachers while teaching phonics is boring. Children love playing and they learn a lot from gamified learning activities. Nitiasih, Rahayu and Budiartha (2020) reported that blending literacy lesson with gamification activities was able to increase student’ reading abilities. As observed by Team-Literacy Gamification, 4 out of 5 learners in public primary schools located in underserved communities in Ogun State cannot read nor write. This scenario is widening the existing inequality in educational access that Teach for Nigeria is out there to fight. Team-Literacy Gamification is, therefore, intervening in the area of Design and production of literacy packs that support staging a gamified literacy lessons at Lower Basic 2-3
