According to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2017), Nigeria has a high burden of viral hepatitis B and C at a prevalence rate of 11.2% and 2.0% respectively with Women, Children and People living with disabilities at higher risk compared to others. As fair of the population, Osun State is another location in Nigeria where this virus is having a field day. According to Oluremi et. al (2020) prevalence of 32.2%, 0.8%, 10.7%, and 18.2% for HBsAg, Anti-HCV, HEV-IgM, and HIV were found respectively. The prevalence of HBsAg, HEV, and HIV among LVDP in Osun State is alarming and health education among the patients and general populace is hereby advocated. Hence, a proper community sensitization is expedient to enlighten people on the cause, dangers and preventive measure to be taken after proper testing to avoid an epidemic situation.
